Quantum EMS Pediatric Vacuum Mattress

The Quantum EMS Pediatric Vacuum Mattress is designed to effectively immobilize and transport infants and children who have experienced vertebra, pelvis, or limb trauma.

• Sealed mattress consists of three foldable, high frequency welded PVC canvases that are filled with polystyrene beads
• Polystyrene beads mold themselves around the patient’s body when the patient is placed on the mattress
• High security plastic valve can be removed to pump air out of the mattress, thus making the polystyrene beads rigid and securing the patient inside the mattress
• Two adjustable, removable, and replaceable patient support straps securely yet comfortably hold the patient in place on the mattress
• Four handles (two on each side) allow rescuers to safely and efficiently transport the patient to a hospital
• Mattress can be combined with the Ambulance Child Restraint (ACR) to keep infants and children protected and comfortable while riding in an ambulance
• Mattress is waterproof, X-ray translucent, and easy to clean
